Hours of work
9am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday (some out of hours work may be required)

Depending on relevant qualifications and experience

Job Brief
Provide support and maintain new and existing customer telephony systems.

Main Duties

  • Provide support services related to the voice services infrastructure, including the monitoring and maintenance of both hardware and software components with specific emphasis on IP telephony.
  • Provide first and second level technical and break/fix support, including coordination of engineering and vendor resources as necessary
  • Responsible for preventive maintenance of voice infrastructure components
  • Responsible for implementing medium complexity Moves, Adds, & Changes
  • Required to provide both on-site and remote support
  • Participate in on-call rotation as part of technical support team.
  • Completes required Change Control documentation
  • Actively participate in meetings including team meetings, hot issue meetings, project status meetings, change control and technical review meetings as required.
  • Demonstrated communication and problem escalation skills are required
  • Responsible for updating and participating in documentation efforts associated with assigned tickets and projects.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Relevant college diploma or university degree.

Desirable Skills & Experience

  • Experience of working with IP,PBX and TDM telephone systems
  • Shoretel deployment experience
