Connectivity Engineer


Hours of work
9.00am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday

£15,000 – £20,000 depending on relevant qualifications & experience.

Paid overtime with rate enhancements and full TOIL (Time off in lieu).
On-site training package provided.

Job Brief
Handling customer calls and escalation of issues to suppliers.
Working with our customers to resolve issues over the phone and on-site if necessary.

Main Duties

Working in the fast-paced IT Support and telecommunications industry you will need to be proactive and a fast learner.

  • The preferred candidate should have an excellent telephone manner and must be customer focused.
  • The role includes answering customer calls to the support the helpdesk and handling ticket escalations to suppliers.
  • The ability to work under pressure and as part of a team is essential.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Excellent communication skills to work well with our customers and suppliers
  • Problem solving skills
  • Previous support experience

Desirable Skills & Experience

  • Router Configuration and support experience
  • Experience working in the telecommunications industry and PBX/Hosted environment


  • Good secondary school grades, ideally with GCSE’s
