Job Brief
The Network Services department provides fixed BT lines and calls, broadband, SIP trunks, Hosted Telephony and Ethernet Solutions to meet the needs of Datasharp’s business customers in this exciting and fast paced industry.  Network Services also provides sales advice, customer account administration, billing and some technical support.

Salary
£15,000 to £20,000 dependent on relevant qualifications and experience.

Main Duties

Datasharp is looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic new colleague to join our Team as a Network Services Project Administrator. Your main role will be to process and manage new orders for services and products through to completion across our portfolio of products. Your other key responsibilities will include; ensuring orders are processed accurately within the guidelines of the product set ordered, communicating with the sales teams and our customers, ensuring all necessary information is collated and correct, validating charges and applying these to customer accounts to provide accurate billing, placing orders with our suppliers, administrative tasks required in support of the large customer base and any other tasks or project that may be required from time to time.

You will also report, record and monitor progress of faults on behalf of our customers with the relevant supplier, utilising all systems and online tools as provided.

Essential skills and experience

  • Project manage order process from start to finish
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • To be able to communicate professionally by phone and electronically with customers, together with all levels of management and staff
  • Advise internal and external customers of products and procedures
  • Liaise with Datasharp sales team and offices UK wide
  • Handle all enquiries in respect of basic administration, fault reporting, invoicing and accounting
  • Ensure calls are handled in an accurate and professional manner
  • Ensure calls taken are comprehensively recorded
  • Account management
  • Recording new and leaving customers
  • Achieve and maintain a strong product knowledge base knowledge
  • To have a good understanding of main company software programmes, to be comfortable taking on new databases and be fluent with online pages
  • Cover colleagues leave of absence
  • Filing and other administrative tasks
  • To undertake any other reasonable duties, appropriate for the post as required

Desirable skills and experience

  • Previous administrative experience would be advantageous with knowledge of the Microsoft package with a focus on Excel skills
  • Able to work at a fast pace and prioritise tasks as appropriate. This is a varied role within a busy department that looks after all existing customer service queries, as well as dealing with clients and customers

Qualifications

Applicants should have 4 GCSEs (A-C) or equivalent including English and Maths and be able to demonstrate experience of working in an office environment.
