At Datasharp we are a passionate group of people committed to looking for greener ways to providing our customers with the service they expect whilst reducing their carbon footprint.
“Focusing on sustainability and environmental issues are important both to us and our customers. We are delighted with our new fleet of eco-friendly vehicles for our team on the road. Datasharp has thousands of customers across the UK and we clock up large mileage as our engineers install and maintain the business telecom and document solutions we provide so the new fleet is good news all round.” Jane Cockcroft, MD, Datasharp UK.
Leading from the front Paul McIntosh, CEO, who frequently cycles to work, commented, “We believe this is a crucial investment that benefits everyone and we’ve received fantastic feedback from our customers who have spotted the vehicles out and about!”
Here’s what Jonathan Tremain, New Car Sales Director at Vospers had to say, “It has been a pleasure to work alongside and to help Datasharp in their quest to reduce their carbon footprint. The Ford brand fits in perfectly with Datasharp’s focus on sustainability as Ford themselves are constantly working on reducing their impact on the environment. Since 2000, Ford has reduced manufacturing plant energy consumption by over 27% and CO2 emissions by 31% Worldwide. The market leading Ford Focus 1.6 TDCi Estate vehicles that have been supplied to Datasharp, not only have powerful diesel engines with 285Nm of torque, but also boast over 67mpg and have one of the lowest CO2 emission figures in its class of 109g/km.”
We are also proud that our internationally branded suppliers have super-green, rigorous environmental policies in place and solutions proposed to our customers have been shown to use 62% less power than other leading manufacturers.
For companies where environmental issues are important – we aim to tick all the boxes!
